Capster uses Amazon's AWS S3 Cloud and its protection system, like most of the major cloud providers out there. The captures are uploaded to AWS Cloud using a "signed URL," meaning only the user can upload captures to their own cloud directory. When sharing a link, a request is made to the Cloud for the capture to be displayed. This request includes numerous security checks (e.g., is it coming from capster.io, secret API key, signatures), and the capture is only available for 2 hours after the request as been made.
